The iPad is Real: Oh yes it is!

It turns out Apple showed us the iPad.  It looks like a big iPhone with acustom interface.  It canruniPhone apps, but in a little window.  But, I now know what I want for Christmas in July gift. Specs after the jump.

• "0.5 inch thick 1.5 lbs form factor
• 1.0 gHz Apple A4 proccessor
• 9.7" capacitive LCD touch screen
• Accelerometer
• Compass
• 16 to 64 gb hard drive
• 802.11wirless card and Bluetooth capabilities
•  OpenGL accelerated graphics card

It can also run current iPhone and iPod Tocuh apps in a window or with pixel doubling.  The iPhone SDKwill be updatedtoday so Apps made with it will run natively on the screen.

BUT, there is no camera...

No word yet on retail price either.
