Dell "Streak" Tablet Flyer Shows a Rainbow and Amazon Partnership

Dell's tablet isn't exactly a secret.  It is most likely going to run Android, have a 5 megapixel camera and front facing camera, and a 5 inch tough screen.  But, according to these leaked internal documents show it will have a rainbow of wild colors, just like Dell's line of netbooks.  And, it will also apparently have Amazon MP3 music store, a Kindle app, and Amazon's digital movies.  It will also hopefully have the Android marketplace for a slew of apps.  Right now the Dell Streak looks a lot better then the iPad in my book, literally.

iPad Pictures and Pricing

Apple has released the official photos of the iPad and has put up a page for it on the Apple website.  The iPad will cost $499 for a 16 GB version with WiFi only, $599 for the 32GB WiFi-only version, and $699 for 64 GB WiFi-only version.  3G and WiFi versions will cost an extra $130, so the 16GB Wifi+3G version will $629 for example.  The WiFi only units will start shipping in March and the 3G and WiFi versions will start shipping in April.  This will also feature the iBooks store, which is Apple's eBook store, and it means Apple is going toe-to-toe with Amazon.

The iPad is Real: Oh yes it is!

It turns out Apple showed us the iPad.  It looks like a big iPhone with acustom interface.  It canruniPhone apps, but in a little window.  But, I now know what I want for Christmas in July gift. Specs after the jump.

Could this be the leaked iPad Ad?

A video appeared on Youtube a little while ago that appears to be an ad for the iPad, the supposed name for the Apple Tablet.  It is certainly in Apple style, but the tablet looks a little to bulky to be made by Apple.  Video after the jump.

Apple Announces January 27th Event

Apple has officially announced its January 27th, invitation-only, event.  The event will be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Fransisco.  The invitation sent to journalists (me not one of them...) reads "Come see our latest Creation."  Could this be the Apple Tablet announcement? Or, will that be a "one more thing" at another date.
